The first thing you will need to give yourself a pedicure is to grab yourself a big bowl.
Fill it with warm clean water and place the bowl on a towel so you don’t splash water all over the place.
Remove all traces of nail polish from your toes. Soak your feet in the warm water so that the skin and nails soften up.
You can also add a few drops of essential oils. Ensure, however, that you chose one that is safe for contact with the skin. Eucalyptus and tea tree oil are safe and leave your skin nice and soft.
Once you have soaked your feet, remove them from the water and leave to dry before clipping your toenails and filing them to get the shape you desire. Next, you want to remove any dry or hard skin from the feet; you can do this with a pumice stone or foot file.
With an orange stick, gently push the cuticle back.
Then use a cuticle cream and massage the delicate area between the cuticles and where the skin meets the nail. Moisturize and massage the feet.
Use a toe separator or cotton wool to make sure your toes don’t touch each other.
Use a base coat on your nails first to protect them. Once this has dried, apply the polish you want in a thin layer. Apply another coat if necessary before adding a top coat to ensure that the color stays.
There you go! You have just given your feet the ultimate beauty treat!~~
